We caught up with Jordan to learn more about his role at The Lawn Club, his favorite tunes, and what makes these brunches truly special.
How long have you been DJing at Lawn Club’s bottomless brunches?
I’ve been DJing at The Lawn Club since February 2023.
What’s your favourite thing about DJing at our brunches?
The atmosphere! The energy at Lawn Club’s brunches is incredible. I love seeing everyone singing their hearts out, dancing, and having an amazing time.
What’s the most requested song at our brunches?
That’s a tough one! The requests span everything from ABBA to Taylor Swift, classic 70s/80s hits to modern-day anthems. It really depends on the crowd, but the variety keeps it exciting.
What’s been your favourite themed brunch so far?
The 90s bottomless brunch, hands down. There’s just something about the 90s—so many anthems, and I’m a 90s baby myself, so it was nostalgic and tons of fun.
If you could create a new themed brunch, what would it be?
A Beyoncé vs. Rihanna bottomless brunch would be epic. I think it would really resonate with our crowd and bring some fierce energy to the party.
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen at one of our brunches?
Definitely the dance-offs and everyone getting up on the benches to let loose. It’s always a highlight when the whole venue turns into a full-blown party.
What’s your go-to song to get people dancing on the benches?
Anything cheesy works wonders—think Spice Girls, B*Witched, or Vengaboys. For more modern vibes, tracks like We Found Love by Rihanna or Hotel Room Service by Pitbull never fail to ignite the crowd.
What’s your favourite track to end the night on?
It has to be Country Roads, Take Me Home. There’s something magical about everyone coming together to sing along—it’s the perfect way to wrap up the night.
What are your favourite venues in Manchester?
Besides The Lawn Club, I love The Oast House, The Alchemist, The Washhouse, Factory, and Depot Mayfield.
What’s your dream event to DJ?
The Warehouse Project (Defected) is a big one for me. I’d also love to play at Defected Croatia or Creamfields.
Dream artist to collaborate with?
I’d be thrilled to work with Sonny Fodera, MK, Gorgon City, Sam Divine, Hannah Wants, Eats Everything, or Low Steppa. They’ve all been huge inspirations.
Finally, what’s your favourite drink on The Lawn Club menu?
The Blue Hawaiian—it’s a total vibe, just like our brunches.
